Nam Soo Kim received the B.S. degree in electronics engineering from Seoul National University in 1988, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 1990 and 1994, respectively. From 1994 to 1998, he was with Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology as a member of technical staff, where he was involved in a number of R/D projects related to speech recognition and signal processing . Since 1998, he has been with the School of Electrical Engineering, Seoul National University where he is currently an assistant professor. His research area includes speech signal processing, speech recognition and speech/audio coding.
