Form 1980 to 1981, Sang-Uk Lee was with the General Electric Company, Lynchburg, VA., where he worked on the development of digital mobile radio. From 1981 to 1983, he was an MTS at M/A-COM research Center, Rockville, Maryland. In 1983, he joined Seoul National University, where he is currently a Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering. His current research interests are in the areas of image and speech signal processing, including VLSI and adaptive signal processing. He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi.
